Becki Naylor

Position: Manager

As our Manager Becki knows the lettings business inside out. Her job involves overseeing every aspect of running a busy letting agents, from viewings and property valuations to landlords queries and rent collection. She originally joined us as a negotiator with two years’ experience of working with part-time and professional landlords, before being promoted to the key role of Manager.

Brought up in Norfolk, Becki lived in Jesmond and Sandyford while she was studying Wildlife Biology at Newcastle University.

Her earliest experience of homes and property was a dissertation that involved a three-month radio tracking project on a community of moles in Northumberland. You will be reassured to know that the four years’ letting experience she has since acquired has all been with tenants of the two-legged variety.

Richard Wilson

Position: Maintenance Team

A ten-year background working for a private landlord gives Richard a head start in the crucial role of organising repair quotes and liaising between landlords, contractors and tenants to make sure maintenance queries are dealt with efficiently and quickly. He also gets involved in carrying out inspections and tenant viewings.

Born in North Shields, Richard’s early career saw him travel the world working on cruise ships and living in Hong Kong, New Zealand, Australia, Florida and Corfu. A spell working for Disney also gave him a unique insight into delivering world class customer service.

David Leslie

Position: Accountant

As our accountant, David’s job is to underpin the smooth running of the business by dealing with all our financial matters, from day to day rent and payment queries through to the company accounts.

David’s expertise includes over 45 years’ finance and accounting experience for a wide range of public and private sector organisations as far apart as Cumbria and London.

A former marathon runner and long distance cyclist in aid of various charities, David likes to keep fit and swims most days.

Peter Robson

Position: Negotiator

Peter is one of our team of negotiators, responsible for looking after the needs of all our tenants, from matching them with the right property to handling every aspect of their tenancy. With a 10 year background in sales he’s also involved in our marketing and brand awareness campaigns.

Blaydon-born Peter first came to letslivehere as a tenant and has lived in several of our properties, so he is ideally placed to see the letslivehere experience from both sides of the fence. Before he moved into property Peter was in theatre and TV design - if he looks familiar it’s because he was a former extra on Byker Grove. A lecturer at two of the region’s universities, he has also worked in customer-facing roles at Sunderland Empire Theatre, as well as in visual merchandising for two of the world’s biggest brands.

Abigail Wilson

Position: Negotiator

Abigail’s varied background involves a spell in merchandising, and in art direction for a London-based advertising agency before she turned to a career in property.

Ten years’ experience in hands on roles working for private landlords in both the commercial and domestic property sector has given her a good understanding of the needs of both tenant and landlord. Her day to day role includes activities such as arranging viewings, handling credit checks, ensuring properties meet health and safety requirements, drawing up contracts and resolving any issues that arise.

Rose Duncan

Position: Negotiator

A Northumbria University graduate in International Business, Rose is one of the team responsible for everything from tenant queries and booking viewings to following up references and taking inventories.

Rose honed her customer care skills working in nightclub and bar management, before moving into property letting and management four years ago. She’s also a big festival-goer - look out for her if you are at Glastonbury, Wickerman or any of the other major festivals this year.

Leanne May

Position: Negotiator

As a negotiator with particular responsibility for viewings, Leanne’s mission is to match the right tenant with the right property, and she leaves no stone unturned in her search.

A background in marketing and promoting everything from luxury cars to trendy bars gave North East-born Leanne her love of matchmaking people and products.

If you have visited the letslivehere offices, Leanne - aka miss vitaminwater - will have been the one extolling the virtues of Glaceau vitaminwater and pressing a free bottle into your hands.

George Smith

Position: Maintenance Engineer

Our resident Mr Fixit, George is a whizz at dealing with any type of building or maintenance issue. A long background in and around the construction industry means nothing defeats him when it comes to repairs and maintenance. George is also supported by other professionals such as Gas Safe registered gas engineers. A classic car enthusiast, George’s time when he’s not busy fixing property is spent having a bit of a busman’s holiday by restoring the old sports car he recently bought himself.
